2nd Best

For my final year project, my team and I (Beets Studios) created a short film called 2nd Best. The story was created by me. I was mainly in charge of modeling, though I did some rigging, texturing, motion graphics and dynamics simulations. I also created most of the promotional materials including artbook, poster and stickers. As assistant team leader I took care of organisation, timekeeping and admin.

Ours was quite an ambitious project on many levels. Our whole cohort had only a day to form a team and then less than 2 weeks to come up with a story. Our story was also much longer than the recommended limit (2-3 minutes) and features an actual, working monster which had never been done before in our school's history of final year projects. Plus we were the 2nd group to ever have done a thriller short film. I'm really satisfied with the result.
