To Greener Pastures

My OCs GK and Carlin. This is part of the backstory I came up for them, in which they're escaping from their destroyed hometown, into another underground city with hopes of starting a better life there. Carlin's carrying GK, both injured. The magic keeps the ravenous goat ghosts ("ghoasts") at bay, but not entirely. GK is crying for the loss of her home and watching the very animals she tends to every day die in the chaotic waters. In the background, we see the calmer waters, dead animals, and the oncoming new city.
I wanted this to look atmospheric and intense, and with a mix of chaos and peace. The new city I've painted in red hues, as even though the waters are calmer, it is uncertain whether this decision is the best for the both of them.
This took me about 4 days to complete.
